His sound didn't seem to have the old grit, sorry but that's how I heard it.

Hi Stephen, I wasnt taking a stab at your comment, I know what you mean about his sound, he certainly doesnt get that big hollow sound like the old days.... Still...Id rather watch him than most of todays players. regards gary

It's difficult to cart around a 2000 galleon water tank to replicate that hollow sound . . .

Duane is a rock instrumental legend who at 74 could just sit back and retire, but no he plays because he enjoys it.
Looking forward to seeing him in May at Holmfirth. Twangtastic!!!

I'm with Tony on this, Duane's live sound was fantastic on his last visits at both small and large venues (100 Club and Festival Hall).

Re Duane's sound

At the concert in York 2010 the sound was spot on and such a pleasure to witness a music legend, i waited all my life to see duane Duane play live and was not let down at all. Now i get a second and third chance with Holmfirth and York tickets booked roll on May!
