If we can have the sons of the Beatles.......

Prompted by the article above, is it possible that we could have a sons of The Shadows band? Obviously I know of Warren Bennett, Ben Marvin, Paul Marvin and Paul Rostill, but what happened to Dwayne Welch or the offspring of Jet and Tony ?

John Farrar's eldest son, Sam, was in a band called Phantom Planet and is now a session guy and producer. He plays bass. John's other son, Max, is in a band called Golden Ghost. Max plays keyboards.

Hello. I was on YouTube as always, and I found the video below and immediately recalled this thread. This video is quite a few years old, judging by Ben Marvin's age...but I guess a band of Shadows-related people would look a little like this?

I really like Mark Griffiths' bass...a Burns Bison, right?

Kind regards,
Donna

I haven't played the video, but that looks like a Burns Shadows Bass reissue model in blue sunburst. An original Burns Black Bison Bass has been used by The Shadows - whenever Dave Richmond recorded or played with the group. Dave is famous for that bass.

This looks like a Shadows Bass bodied Burns Donna.
Jet Harris had a similar coloured one at his 60th Birthday party in Bristol UK
in 1999. It looked impressive on the stands next to his Barracuda six string
bass/baritone model and silver grey mottle finished Burns Legend model he
also used at this time.

What about a band composed of Hank, Bruce, Paul and Ringo?

What happened to Dwayne Welch you ask

Changed his name to Dwayne Pyppe--he was flushed with the fame.
