Yes adverised opening time for Box Office was 10.00 am so how come you got reply at 9.00am ??. You did well !

In all honesty guys I didn't see any statement about 10am opening, I just figured that 9am is the usual retail go time so called from then. It was engaged solidly for 15 mins and then I got through. Hubby was on the case for the room, same story. Sorry if anyone thinks I jibbed them, I just rang and they answered, honest!

We're sorted too: tickets, accommodation and flights. It'll be a first for most of The Danish Shads who will also bring their loyal supporters (read: wives )

We stayed at the Travelodge last year. It was very pleasant for the price, plenty of parking, really peaceful at night and as Rich and Ma-Lou have said, it's a short taxi ride away. If memory serves me right it was about £6 door to door, not bad at all.

I arrived at Lakeside at 9.40. It was obvious then that they'd already sold quite a few tickets & they were answering the 'phones. Last year & the year before.....they made me wait until 10.00am....even though they were taking orders over the 'phone!! This year they served me at 9.50. Oh well....

All being well I should be able to order my ticket in the morning. Wasn't able to attend last year (only the second time missed) because of financial destitution bought on by my enforced period of unemployment. That status ends next week with a return to the workforce ( )so I should be to put some of my penultimate benefits payment tomorrow to good use, get some credit on my phone (sheer luxury ) and get myself a ticket to the Greatest Show on Earth.

Well folks, for the first time, I won't be there this year. I'm leading a rideout for the Chapter on Sunday and gigging on Saturday. Sad really, so I'll miss nearly all of you. Hope you have a great time... and look after my good mates Legend. I am SO pleased that they are playing ShadowMania again...
