I tried out a Classic Vibe for the first time when buying my new amp earlier in the year and thought it was an absolutely beautiful guitar to play and it seemed lighter than my Strats too. While away I bought a back up guitar - a Squier Bullet - which by chance happened to be a red one too so even better. I only played it unplugged but apart from the bridge needing adjustment as it was set flat to the body, I was very impressed with it too and it seemed easier to play than my Strats.
Here's a picture:

I've left it in NSW for next time though it would have been nice to have brought it home too.
Best wishes

Thats the exact same one I purchased, and in red too(on my avatar) whilst in Canada a couple of years ago Rosemary. It was originally intended to be left out there for keeping in practice on further visits but I immediatelly fell in love with it and took it home with me. It is now my main guitar and play it every day. I did have to do a bit of work on it in respect of tidying up the neck and intonation and I do still have to change the trem unit but its a great purchase for the meagre amount of $132 Canadian I think. I've put Seymour Duncans on it and it sounds fantastic now, although it did still sound really good with the originals.
I purchased another one on my following visit and it is still out there awaiting my next holiday which is this week as a matter of fact

By the way....The neck on this instrument has no laquer or polish and is just plain white. I read on another site that you can use a few coats of brown Kiwi shoe polish rubbed in to the desired shade to make the finish more pleasing to the eye, then rub it til you get a good shine on it.
Has anyone tried this one out??? I'm kind of toying with the idea

I may try it out on my other one in Canana in the next few weeks.
