All welcome, either to play, or just to listen and enjoy June's cakes.

Hi Paul and June
I'm reluctant to even mention this after the Disaster of trying to get to Congelton last time (and failing!) BUT all things being equal I WILL be there!!
It'll be acoustickle string plonking from me this time so I hope I can plug into your PA.
cheers
ian
There will now be a plague of locusts, petrol strike, 10 ft of snow and a national shortage of coconut slices that will endeavour to keep me in the West Midlands!!!!

Hello Paul

I'll (almost) certainly be there. I'm taking Friday off work to re-learn how to play the guitar - having missed both Pipeline and the last North Notts Meeting due to work committments.
Please. please get June to hide some of the coconut cake - if Ian gets there before me!!

Best wishes

Tony

June has already made a start on a "MOUNTAIN" of coconut slices, so there should be enough for both Ian and Tony, and with a bit of luck, some for the other attendees. She will also be making her famous Coffee Walnut cake, and I hope that this time there will be a piece left for me! Also on the Menu will be Canadian Fruit Loaf and Toffee Tray Bake. Remember that tea, coffee, and cakes are all included in your admission fee, (£4.00 for players, £2.00 for non-players) so don't be shy about asking for more, (as long as you leave me some for my dinner!).

And a fine time was had by all, I think.
Plenty of music, great cakes and jolly banter all round. I managed to cadge Tonys CPX6 for my acoustic numbers and a fine guitar it is too - many thanks Tony.
BTs and Live Band - a smashing combination.
Thanks to Paul and June for putting up with us all and organising a good Gig.
cheers

Paul and June

Just to reinforce Ian's sentiments and many thanks for making such a good job of setting everything up for all who attended, resulting in a very enjoyable afternoon.

Best wishes

Thanks Ian and Tony for your kind words, and to all the other attendees yesterday.
I really enjoyed the afternoon, although by the end I was excessively fatigued (totally knackered, in fact)
I wish we could hold more of these meetings, but it takes me two months to recover!!
Oh well, here's to the next one. (June 23rd)
