Slightly off topic our local radio station broadcast an interview with Hank a year or so ago at the end of which the DJ announced "What a brilliant interview there with FRANK Marvin"

Truly a Shadows fanatic

And, on the subject but off at a slight tangent, it still surprises me how many people, including Squier owners (and on this forum, too), spell the name, Squire

Slightly off topic,the early sleeve notes of the "Chirpin' Crickets" LP refered to Buddy coming from "Bullock " in Texas rather than Lubbock !

If you want misprints, look no further than the first four UB Hank CDs, they contain one each!

Such great gems as:

QUARTERMASSTER'S stores
The LONLEY Bull
Because THERE Young

and my all-time favourite, presumably a song about winkle-pickers;
Foot TAPER!

(At least we don't have to put up with Dance On Me ... thanks for the reminder Rob, I've got that album but had forgotten about that.)

Guilty as charged. One day I was sitting here practising on my Squier and I looked over at the headstock and it dawned on me...I did exactly that. I posted something and I know for sure that's how I spelled it...or misspelled it, I should say.

I really enjoyed the snapshot from JimN of the record where Hank's first name is spelled wrong. Kind of ironic that they spelled it "Honk" when it turns out that Hank teases Bruce about his nose...another thing I learned here on the Forum. :)

If you'll excuse me now, I have to go into my iTunes Library and "un-correct" all the places where I "corrected" the spelling of Quatermasster's Stores. :lol:

Kind regards,
Donna
