Email them through contact page, George responds fairly quickly, I got delivery by return once payment was made.

This might seem a bit of overkill, but there were plenty of takers in the Shadows Club I run and the price is good at this level!

But if you want to buy them 10 at a time, my Canadian eBay deal (above) is a great deal...

Hi Martin

You might find it worth checking out the price first, could be that you get a surprise!

Gary, it seems you have to email them to get a price. The Canadian ones are £2.55 for 10 plus £1.27 postage. I bought 20 and the postage was discounted also for the double order. This lot should last me a really long time as these picks are really durable. The last lot I got (10) was from a distributor in the U.K. but Google reveals nothing from here at present. I think the Czech option (providing the price is right) is ideal if you want to order them 50+ at a time to maybe share with others...

Cheers, Martin.

Work? :o I've not been accused of that in a long time. 8-)

I'm now a movement logistics operative. :? 8-)

I tried to buy some from the company in Bogner last year and they said they no longer had them - the quantity he had to order was too high for the expected sales, they may have changed so if you get any joy please post it here because oddly they do make a difference, other thicker picks sound muddy compared to these.

Hi Martin

They don't quote prices on their web site and my order was placed direct with them about 8 months ago, so I feel it may be misleading to quote a price which may now have changed, it was also in Euro. However, based on my order of 72 off against the 10 off, I still stand by what I said in terms of it being well worth getting a quote. My reason for contacting them directly was that the UK dealer I had previously purchased from was reluctant to re-order and I couldn't find another supplier.

The 72 off I bought was higher than their minimum quoted quantity of 50 off, but I had people who immediately wanted around 40 off and the balance wasn't going to be a problem, they are very popular in the club.

You need to be a little careful, the suggestion on their pro-forma invoice is to do a bank transfer of the money, in which case you end up with the charges both ends, which disproportionately adds to the cost. My solution was to send a Post Office Euro cheque, taking into account the cost of the exchange rate, postage and hassle, it was still a very worth while exercise and they covered the postage of the picks to me. From memory I think the added cost was about £8.00 over above the invoice price, which still made the transaction highly viable.

They were extremely helpful and the service was excellent, they communicated well by Email and dispatched immediately the money was received.

Regards

Gary

Hi Keith

I'm glad to be of help, I did try to indicate that they were a much better priced direct (even if you only want 10 off, the 72 off are not that much more!). Be a bit careful of the bank transfer charges, when I enquired they were charged to the customer at both ends, I got around this by arranging a Giro check with my local Post office for Euros and I think this came to a total of about £5.40 in charges.

George was excellent, he Emailed to let me know when the cheque had arrived and shipped the same day.

I didn't find getting the 78 off a problem in my case, there still seems to be quite a few people seeking them out.

Regards
