The ones I have,I got them from the man himself...
A few from diffrent concerts in the past.
But also a few as a exchange gift, in his dressingroom after one of the 2005 concerts in HMH Amsterdam...
I gave him a few of my fav picks because we had a very nice discusion about the picks he use.
He told me that the red ones he uses now are his fav, because they have a nice grip and a sharp edge.
But i replied that he use a lot of them during a show, frequently grab new ones from his trouserpocket, examen the edge and sometimes he put a pick back...
He said that I was right, they ware out quick and often he re shape the edge in his free time....and use those again.
When i gave a few of my green Jim Dunlop M3 his eyes light up and he smiled and said "i used those in the past ,they sound great even better as the red ones, but they are slippery...
I told him that i tried the red ones a few times but prev the green JD M3...they sound better I said.
Did you buy them new? Hank ask....no i just used the few you gave me......he said "well there you go....secondhand gear... you never know what you get"
