We played, we chatted, we held hands, we danced and, well, generally got closer than ever.

How could I forget that moment when you stroked my hand, squeezed my fingers so very gently,

looked me right in the eye and said.

"Get the beer in Al I've forgot me wallet".

Or the time when you and I went to see the Shads in Brum ?
We sat in our seats chatting to our pals only to get chucked out because you'd got the wrong date.

Ah yes, a small timing error on my part that meant we moved from superb seats in the third row back, ( almost able to catch Hank's pick ), to seats quite close to Jupiter's third moon.

I bought you an ice cream didn't I?

I'd happily pay £15 to see Alan and Ecca performing together :D

It is a fact that the present location is great both from the parking and accessibility angle.

Don't i remember someone saying that if you were a club member you could book the room for 20 quid instead
of 30?

If that's the case we need a member of the Hankies to be a member of the club and book the room for us...

Also a meeting with the committee may be a good idea!!

We use a room at a club local to me for band rehearsals from 7:30 -11:00 - now bearing in mind we are a commercial organisation .... They charge us ..... £10

Methinks GW are taking the proverbial

I'm all for a free room (musty and cash), I asked the committee person mentioned if we could possibly start at 7pm instead of 7-30pm as we seem to lose 30+ mins setting up etc every week but got a very unwelcoming/unfriendly **NO**, so much for a discussion !!
