I liked watching the boys on German TV last Saturday and I'm really surprised to read that there are still lots of tickets for sale for the only German concert on November 28th.
Maybe the TV appearance helped to create more interest ? It was a shame that the boys had to mime to their own music, I'm sure they would have preferred to play live.
It was certainly not amusing seeing all those mediocre " stars " that appeared in this show before Cliff & The Shadows finally appeared in the end.

I have to say I liked their performance, it was great to see the boys in action, they look good and still sound good together, miming is unfortunately something that is a common thing to do on European TV shows.
The only reason why the boys performed in Germany last Saturday was because of the poor ticketsales for their final show on the 28th
It's weird but in the last couple of years Germany is the only country that doesn't seem to sell out .
I remember going to Hannover 2 years ago and the venue was half empty, a shame I have to say and a big surprise as well as in the 80's and 90's Cliff did severall shows per Tour and they were always sold out!
Hopefully their TV performance will help and tickets will start selling, their Final European Tour date should be a sell out show!
I will be there, is anyone else from this site going?

Not long now, I am counting the days for Brussels, can't wait!

Well, I've just watched this in the local library (with a pair of headphones on!) and I thought it was great! Really enjoyed it - so much so that my feet were tappin under the desk, not too loudly, I hope!). I thought they all came across really well and I'm sure this will sell a few more tickets! The red leather jacket looked like the one Cliff wore back in 1981 and did you notice how flared Hank's trousers were?! Speaking of which, I loved the way Brian kept bursting into flames during Singing the Blues (!!!). The audience was a good size and they all seemed to enjoy it. Yeah, it was good - what a shame they haven't had similar exposure on British TV. Still, there's still Paul O'Grady in three weeks...
