Little B has always been Big B for me.
Dead boring.

Our take on "Little B "

Postby abstamaria » 01 Jul 2012, 06:43

“Little B” has been the all-time favorite here, but over the years I’ve begun to favor ”See You in My Drums.”

Here is a video I invite you to watch. In it we play “Little B.” The special thing, in my view, is our drummer Lito Torribio, who first played the piece in the early 1960s. He was in his late 60s in that video, taken in about 2007. He is a very good drummer, and you might like his version, which is very close to the Shadows’ original recorded version (but please excuse my poor lead). To try to match the original, we added a clave, maracas, and bongo drums. Please skip our poor performance of “Shadoogie” and start at 2.27, please.

I hope you like it.

Andy

Don't ask me - the drum solo was always the opportunity for a ten minute mid-set break in my band!

Dead right Noel and thanks for the heads-up about your printer, I bought one and it's great.

Phew!

When you need replacement ink cartridges, check Amazon for some excellent compatible ones that are much cheaper.

I paid £113 for a set from Internet Ink which I've used before.
The ink was more than I paid for the printer but the acetate printout of the PCB for the echo unit has come out superb.

Bloody guitar players!
The drum solo was/is always an excuse for me to DO a ten minute/fifteen minute drum solo without excess stage baggage/litter!!!!
Remember... a band is only as good as their drummer.

I haven't included them in the poll, but I also very much like Brian's 'solo drumsolo's', like "Drum Odyssey" or any of his library music LP tracks.
