Not enough to generate a significant enough profit for the record company involved. Researching, restoring, mastering, printing, marketing...all these things cost money. The global market for a Shadows rarity release is going to be very slim - no matter how hard people on this site wish it was a reality. The fact is that the majority of large record labels these days are only interested in acts who will sell in significant numbers, and who will appear on chat shows to promote the product. For the vast majority of the general public, The Shadows = Hank Marvin, and as long as he's in Australia and has no interest in reviving The Shadows, then you're not going to see any kind of significant release.
Let's face it - if the Mattesons national advertising campaign wasn't enough to prompt the release of a cheap-and-cheerful Greatest Hits package, then a rarities release isn't even going to register on their radar.
