If anyone can help me to acquire copies of the interviews from Record Collector (or the actual issues) then I would be very grateful. Thanks.

On the other hand why open old wounds?

If the two gents put their dispute(s) behind them and hit the road again a few years back isn't that good enough?

Let sleeping dogs etc etc

Is it just me? I downloaded both these interviews and found them impossible to listen to because the sound was overlapping rather like an echo machine that repeats just once after a few seconds at the same volume. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hi Ian,

I found the recordings muffled - but Windows Media Player graphic equaliser sorted that out - so no - not the same experience as you mention.

All the best

Thanks, Mark. I have just ordered a copy of issue 171.

As a huge fan of the Shads, and having heard about these interviews, it will be interesting to see how Hank and Bruce saw things almost 20 years ago. I am sure it will put an interesting perspective on things.

Thanks Geoff. Your reply encouraged me to delete the sound files I had and download them again. This time, success! All they need now is a level boost and an EQ tweak, which my computer can do!

Cheers - Iain

Hi,
I just tried to listen to these interviews on 4shared but it says they have been deleted.
Does anybody know why ?
Best regards,
Maurice.
