What a wonderful weekend it's been...
Unfortunately I was unable to attend last year's SHADOWMANIA, but thank goodness I was able to be there this year.
What a wonderful event it's been!
Shadowmania to me was not just the bands and of course seeing and hearing Bruce play (what a legend!) but Shadowmania has also given me a large group of friends over the years...
How wonderful it was to see each other again, spending time amongst friends and in the presence of Bruce Welch. No one else spends his weekend amongst fans, the fact that he stays at the same hotel, has breakfast with us all proves to me what a real gentleman and true professional he really is, he kept Shadow music alive by organizing his event and kept the fans enthusiastic (my humble opinion of course).

Anyway, a very big THANK YOU to Bruce for organizing yet another Shadowmania, but also for giving us 54 years of his time and wonderful music.
I'm sad in a way as this was the last Shadowmania, but so very much underdstand his decision and all I can say is...You have given us the best years of your life, THANK YOU for your music and time and for being you!

To all my friends (most friendships started on the old Shadowmusic MSN website)... thanks for all the wonderful times we've shared... this was not a real goodbye, we may or may not get to see each other in real life in the future, but we'll stay in touch via FB, email and various websites!
Thanks for the warmest friendship I have experienced.

PS: I was very sad to hear about Phil Kelly's health problems. Please Phil if you read this, I'm wishing you all the best, I am thinking of you and wish you a speedy recovery! You were missed. Lots of love, Angélique

You have summed up how so many of us feel. Shadowmania was a unique event - we shall not see its like again. So thank you Bruce, and everyone who contributed over the years. Hard to believe that it all started as a "one off" in 1998.
