How To Upload A Photo For Your Avatar (profile picture)

I thought this may help a few members to get a photo uploaded to run alongside each message you post, so if you are reading this as a guest you need to join first, also guest's cannot read all sections of this site....


Click in this order
1:User control panel
2: Profile
3: Edit Avatar
4: Browse
5: Submit
If it won't load up your chosen photo it is to large, it needs to be reduced in size!!

Manged to do mine now.
Re-sizing a pic down to 150 x 150 pixels is a "Good Game" isn't it? - NOT!!

Can someone please tell me how to downsize a picture - I managed to upload a pic as an avatar (which was taked on my web cam) but other pictures that I have, which were taken on a 8million pixel camera, are too large to upload to a gallery. Any help I would greatly appreciate.

Sorry Robin I missed this request, below is the only way I know how to reduce photo / picture size

Before you down size a photo make a second copy to fall back on ! If you have a photo in your pctures folder, right click and send to your documents for a spare.

!: Take it into "Paint"
2: Click on Image at top of page.
3: Click on Stretch / Skew from drop down menu.
4: Put in size you want, you may need to experiment with this a few times.
5: Then upload your resized photo into your profile.

Hi Derek Many thanks -- it worked -- so there are now some pictures of our band The Strangers in my gallery. I would never have found that way of reducing the size without your valuable assistance. Many thanks once again.
