Thanks for posting that very interesting clip, Roger. :thumbup:

It's always good to hear how top musicians have developed over the years, and Michael comes across as very "Nice Guy" as well.

In truth, I doubt that ANY great rock musicians of the 60's & 70's were not originally influenced by The Shadows - before developing into other styles.

Yes thanks Paul.... I think most were influenced but it is nice for them to come out and say so loud and clear like this. MS is a great guitarist and I love his neo classical sense to rock music.

I suspect that it would be easier and quicker to list the rock guitarists who were NOT influenced by the Shads!!!!

The list of those who WERE, is endless....................................
