Also the late Joe Meek one of the pioneers of recording sadly passed away on this day in 1967

I read about Buddy Holly`s death as I was delivering newspapers just like in the Don McClain song American Pie. Joe Meek killed his landlady then killed himself not a pleasant thing to be remembered for
