Tony Rivers has posted on Facebook that Kevin Peek (Sky, Cliff's band, etc) has passed away but I haven't seen confirmation anywhere else. we had a false alarm about Herbie Flowers some months ago, but I have no idea if this is another example.
Anyone know?

Facebook a couple of days ago was full of people announcing Kevin Peek's passing but I could find no reference to it anywhere on the web.
There hasn't been an obit in The Telegraph either, a newspaper which I consider even more reliable than the BBC.
Maybe Tony Rivers saw it on Facebook.

Tony said he picked it up on Brian Bennett's FB page.

Aye, I had a look but all I could find was Tony's post. I'll root around a bit more.

HI
I knew Kevin really well when he played with Olivia and Cliff and he always suffered from a dodgy stomach. I remember he was taken ill at the Sheffield Fiesta club whilst working with Olivia and had to cancel the wee.
Regards
Stuart

I sincerely hope this is NOT true.
I have just emailed Peter Lyster-Todd (sky's former manager) to enquire. Doesn't seem like five minutes since Steve Gray passed away.

It would seem that nobody in WA is saying anything either way, so probably best to wait until there is confirmation.

Nah, I saw that too before I posted. It's not confirmation, it's a speculative piece based on hearsay.
