If you are still thirsting for instrumental music after the Pipeline Convention on Easter Sunday (31st March), you will be in luck!

That's because the Cliff Richard and the Shadows Fan Meeting at Tilburg will take place at Berkel-Enschot on Saturday 6th April.

Although the event was placed in jeopardy by the untimely death of Joop Moen (who organised it until 2012 inclusive), Master of Ceremonies Ferry Nice has saved the day by arranging for the event to take place this year, though as a one-day event (the Saturday) rather than the two day event (Saturday and Sunday) of recent years.

I'm rather hoping that the traditional Friday night pre-event get together can still take place, with opportunities for playing in a scratch band in one of the side function rooms.
