Such sad news. I saw him once in Edinburgh - fantastic. Listen to 'Midnight in Moscow' on Youtube - I defy you to not tap your toes and go with it - brilliant.

Always a great entertainer who appealed to all generations. Even Granny who would be scowling at
these dirty long haired beat group chappies on Thank Your Lucky Stars or similar would suddenly stop
her knitting and crochet and start tapping her feet at Kennys latest potential hit parade offering!!!

Midnight in Moscow is the first record I ever bought.

Kenny Ball was one of the great popular musicians.
