Hankies tonight ?

I'll be there with my new 8 string Schector, I've had 3 extra fingers grafted onto each hand.

Due to it being my birthday tomorrow, I have family coming to festoon me with gifts tonight.

( Or, on the other hand, swig all the beer and eat all the cake ).

Anyway, I'm building up to a return.........................soon.
To know and have known the love of a little dog is a truly wonderful thing.

What a pleasant night we had.
There was a Neighborhood watch meeting going on when we got there complete with a policeman which was a bit of an irritant. We soon cleared the room though when we bosted off.
Tony Szpala came to see us and very welcome he was too.
He bought his big bad Burns Barracuda bass and Gretsch with him, great sounds.
He was very impressed with the playing of Mick the Marmaliser who just about managed two and a half tunes to blistering applause and 'Malcolms'.
The cobs provided by the previous landlord have dried up now, probably due to lack of support.
Billy Fury provided some splendid pork pie and Amanda some doughnuts.
Bill can sing all he likes as long as he keeps bringing such fare.
My 8 string Schector made its debut and jolly nice that sounded too.
What a gay day.

That's nice Ecca, but what is going on with your "Valve Eccamatic"?? No word on that for weeks, and more importantly, no sound files. Did it not turn out as you had expected, or did I miss something?

The valve Eccamatic is in production as we speak, I've sold 2.
I was hoping Dave Robinson might play with it but he's not well at the moment.
I've taken the prototype to the Hankies 3 weeks running and left it on all night to ensure it's OK and it's great.
I've been waiting, waiting, waiting for parts.
I waited 2 weeks for switches to come from China and then they sent the wrong ones.
I waited for PCBs to come and they're all here now.
I'll be flogging these for £195 + P&P.
Aluminium enclosure , BCD thumbwheel ( I don't like those weedy rotary switches ) Coloured chicken head knobs.
Very nice

Just thought I'd mention the Valve Eccamatic has been trialed for several weeks now and it is producing excellent echos which seem to have warmth and clarity and I understand Ecca has got the unit to run cool and stable. It is slightly bigger but not much and cheaper than than the etap2HW I believe and simpler in construction.
