Spotted the difference between Hank's Strats ?

Postby Kon-Tiki » 13 Nov 2009, 15:41

8-) Anybody spottet the difference between Hank's red Strats used on the Final Reunion Tour ?
As you can see, Hank is changing red Strats really often during the concert.
But has anybody spotted the difference between the (two) red guitars ?
Well, I think I have.........

The only difference I am aware of is the gauge of strings he uses. On the Reunion tour he uses a wound third on his number two Strat.

Doesn't one have a graphite nut, + two black roller string trees, and the other staggared locking tuning posts with no string tree? ;)

Ah, of course. I knew I'd forget something. They both have staggered tuning posts but it was felt the saddles would help too, on the number two guitar. All Hank's signature Fiesta Red Strats have 22 frets.
