Brian's unusual sticks

Postby drakula63 » 01 Apr 2013, 12:46

Apparently, in the late 1980s, Brian Bennett was experimenting with various new types of drum sticks prior to the Shads going into the studio. Here's an interesting picture of him holding a pair of quite unusual ones. Apparently they didn't stand up too well in practice and he decided not to use them after all. A shame as they looked pretty tasty.

Celerey say the old folks which goes to show You Never Can Tell!!!

Mike

P.S. think M.W.F. had a song of that title too?

Apparently, the sticks were quite unique - a cross between sticks and brushes which could also be used as emergency sustenance if the tour bus broke down in a remote area. Probably...
