Cliff Richard Live at the ABC Kingston

The former ABC cinema in Kingston where Cliff and the Shadows recorded their April 1962 concert (one of Jet Harris's last appearances with the Shads) is now derelict. But it is a listed building and so will have to be restored in a suitable way. It is a long-running saga, the latest news on which is in the link below from this week's Surrey Comet.

I used to go to that cinema in the 60's but didn't see Ciff and the Shads concert. Part of the Hawker aircraft factory used to be behind that cinema. Just thought you might like to know.
