Can anyone recomend the best program for downloading from YouTube and burning DVD's?

I use YTD Video Downloader which has a player built in and also does file conversions say from .flv to .mp4. Try AShampoo Burning Studio for CD/DVD burning both are free. Try Download.com to get hold of them and others.

Downloadhelper which is a plugin for Firefox is esay to use and works fine.

and burning DVD's?

If needed, I make video format conversions with SUPER.
After I use ConvertXtoDvd or DVD Architect Studio for DVD mastering, then burn it with Nero.
