The cynical thing done by Lakeside and overlooked by many is the possible disastrous financial implication for the Shadowsfix organisers.
It is a hugely expensive thing to organise a gig on this scale and if it doesn't come off then there will be big bills for somebody.
We'll have a great time, support it.

Site members seem to be forgetting this Ecca, In my previous thread i had said so concerning Lakesides cynicism. This weekend is being organised by fans/friends for fans/friends at no **PROFIT**

I don't honestly think anyone is forgetting anything. We've known about ShadowsFix for quite a while now and I'll see you there if you're going. The Lakeside event is a late entry to the stakes and is unfortunately close to the SF date. But the success of both events is a matter for those who choose to attend. Same goes for the various gigs and galas that members of the site are putting on up and down the land between now and then, all at their own expense too.

This site supports and encourages all Shads-related activities and wishes them all success. There are people here who've been known to attend several Shads or Hank gigs in a row when there have been tours on, so I don't think there's any lack of enthusiasm! Let's hope we all support what we want to support and that there are enough of us to go round :)

Well I've secured 2 lovely tickets for shadowsfix, and I am really exited about going to this event, and meeting more people from this site and friends on Facebook, I'm sure it will be a great success and will keep going for many many years to come, I won't be going to the lakeside event this year as the dates are too close together for me too arrange a cat and tortoise sitter plus hotel and travel, only 112 days to go now
