UPDATE: ShadowsFix tickets

Postby MeBHank » 13 May 2013, 16:34

Hi folks...

I would have added this message to the original, stickied ShadowsFix thread but on looking this afternoon I see that it has been necessary to lock it.

This is an update for those people who have purchased tickets. We planned - and advertised - that the first batch of tickets would be dispatched last week. Unfortunately we have been delayed due to an issue with printing. We hope that, providing our new printing company gives us no further problems to tackle, the first tickets will be arriving on doormats by the end of this week or the beginning of next.

Jayne and I would like to thank everyone who has backed us in this venture by their vocal support and/or by buying tickets. We are working hard to put on a top quality show which will live long in the memory for all the right reasons.

Tickets are still available, so if you haven't yet booked, you haven't missed your chance to attend a weekend full of wonderful music and great company.

As this is the first time I have spoken publicly as ShadowsFix organiser, I will say now that we are hoping it will not be a one-off event, but this first time has to be a success to continue putting our money and necks on the line. The lesson of the last two weeks has been learnt, though: if there is to be a next time we will try to avoid any potential date clashes with other events!

Come and support us. We won't let you down. We're going to have an absolute ball.

I normally take my annual two week break in the sun the first two weeks in September, but sometimes I'm away a day or two before, but this year I have to leave it until the last minute on doctors orders, so I'm counting on being able to be there and play in Ecca's all stars on the Friday night? . . . . Seriously, it would be nice to see everyone. 8-)

Would be nice to see you and catch up, but don't come wearing a platinum behive wig, you never know what might happen. :D :D :D :D

If the drums are set up on Friday, I'll play for you and I am sure others will as well.
The Crickettes (Pat Terrett) are providing the drums, a very nice kit it looks too, so it will depend on them.
