I thought it was a pretty good programme, although for some reason I thought there was going to be a 'part 2' next week.

There is. It's a multi-part documentary called "50s Britannia", of which the first part was "Rock'n'Roll Britannia". The second part ("Trad Jazz Britannia") is on this coming Friday.

It was great seeing Cherry Wainer playing 'Hoots Mon'! She recorded one of Cliff's compositions, I believe - Happy Like a Bell. I've never heard it, though...

The B side of that 1960 single is an early instrumental version of Berry Gordy's Money (That's What I Want).
