Having just done a catch up with all the messages on the site. I must give a BIG thankyou to all our shadows friends who have sent cards, messages and telephone calls over the past months giving me the much needed support during daves tramatic time. As you all know his brain tumour will not go away but with increased mediation he is going through a stage of standstill with a slight improvement of 3/4 steps movement.I know he is missing his drumming so terrible much and the weekly calls from Linda Harper Brian Locking Ian Cross Joy McCutcheon Kevin Harris and other friends are a great encouragement to him. He loves it when I tell him whos rung up the night previous so a very BIG THANKYOU to you all. Love to you all in the Shadows Family Carol xxxxxx

I only met Dave once and that was at Middleton in Leeds when he played with Tony Hoffman. I don't get chance to attend these Shadows gigs very much but on that one I did the MC's job. Dave was very kind and we spoke for a while. Please give him my best wishes and let's hope he's on the mend quickly.
