I wasn't quiet at all on june 15th in Bösingen (near Fribourg, Switzerland) for the Swisshads 2013 meeting. A full day of Shadows' music (and more).
Here are some of the people who were there :

You may recognise a few of them.

Yes, I was there, but of course the star of the day was Brian "Licorice" Locking (center) who played a lot all day long, either on bass or harmonica, and never refused to play with amateur musicians.

Yes, of course, the presence of Licorice in your group of friends emphasises his enjoyment, and that he continues to give to others, in his role of Shadows elder statesman, despite his relatively brief tenure in the group.

It may be quieter than its heyday but we have new members joining just about every day :)

I suppose if the Shadows or Bruce are not active anymore there's not as much to chat about.

This has to sum it all up really, I have been thinking along the same lines for the best part of a year, since Shadowmania finished. I suppose we have all asked what we wanted to know and annoyed everybody with our comments and opinions. However it has all been brilliant and I for one have enjoyed it immensely and hopefully will continue to do so.
I actually feel that the Internet is beginning to quieten down, whatever the forum.
I spy with my little eye.....
