Hi All, on start up my Vista installed pc shows ERROR CODE 0x80073b01, i can click to remove it, but how can i remove permanently its not allowing some windows upgrades, (i have run a CC cleaner) Thanks

Be careful. I've tried several of these "reg" programs and they all come up with different number of "reg" problems. You could try "CCleaner" by Piriform. Its a free program but is constantly updated and offers several other options to keep your PC in top condition.
It's quite a while now since I last used a Windows system, but do recall getting an error like this on someones machine that hadn't been regularly updated, I did manage to eventually fix it.
From what I recall it was a registry fix type problem, whilst you will have to decide for yourself if you comfortable with with the source and happy to run it, this may be of help?
