COMBINED PRINTER AND SCANNER

Postby anniv 63 » 08 Aug 2013, 15:42

Hi
Can anyone recommend a good medium priced combo as above that will run with a Windows 7 Home Premium
64 bit Version just installed upgraded.
Print quality should be good but not that perfect to bootleg CD covers!! , and reasonable ink life and reliability.

Cheers and thanks

I can confirm this, an excellent combination device that can also be accessed via Wi-Fi (good if you use a notebook/netbook/tablet). My device also accepts the significantly cheaper no-name refills with hardly noticeable quality loss.

I have one of the Canon MG series and, as others have said, it produces excellent quality prints with the bonus of being able to print onto a CD.

The negatives are that it can sometimes take ages to set itself up for printing and it does seem to use a lot of ink but, as stated, it accepts cheaper compatible cartridges.

Cheers.

Another vote for Canon - recently replaced my ailing one with the budget MG2150 which is fine though I don't think it would take CDs!

I have a Brother LC1220, it's a 4 in one model I can Fax, print, copy and scan it does all this and cost me, I think it was very good price wise.

Why does replacement ink cost more than the printer?
