New Club Near Sleaford

Postby 47guitarman » 12 Aug 2013, 10:39

Hello everyone,
Just wondering how much interest there is in starting a new Shadows Music Club in the Sleaford area of Lincolnshire.
Our village hall at Helpringham seems to be available most Mondays and a few Wednesday nights each month, so we could probably meet once a month or every other month on either a Monday or Wednesday evening.
It is within easy reach of both the A17 and A52.
Depends really on how much interest there is.
I have enough equipment to get it started with backing tracks. I have all the UBHank and Shadows Workout CD’s.
What do you think – please let me know if you are interested.
Regards, Dave

Hi Steve, Ron and Neil
Thanks for replying.
Hopefully it might be viable with a few more people.
We really need 7 or 8 minimum to cover the cost of the hall hire.
I have also taken a full page advert in our local village magazine which goes to nearly 400 homes.
There might be people away on holiday at the moment, so another few weeks should give a reasonable indication.
Regards, Dave

Hi Dave,
Having just started the Newbury Club,I know that getting it started can throw up all sorts of problems but once it's up and running, it's fun providing the facilities for others to be able to play the music that we all love. Go for it!
