Len Goodman

Postby StuartD » 23 Sep 2013, 14:16

Hi

Len Goodman played Maggie's Samba on his show on Radio 2 last night. He said he didn't know who Maggie was but that she would have been pleased with a great number and arrangement with lots of different things going on.

It was nice to hear something rather than the obvious tracks for a change.

I wonder if `Maggie` is a reference to Brian Bennett`s wife Margeret maybe

I'm sure it is. Similarly, Warren Bennett has stated that Little B was dedicated to him (though written before his birth). And it seems likely that Dean's Theme was named for the same sort of reason.
