Noticed one posted a question regarding the power supply to his gear---any ideas anyone?

Not necessarily. It could be that the amp will run off 12 volts as well as mains. There is a long tradition of dual-voltage equipment being made for situations where there is no mains.

This is part of my rig for Rememberance Sunday. I use a total of 8 horns running off two 50 watt amplifiers, both using 12 volts from the car.

Maurice, maybe it shouldn't be too much of a surprise tthat the busker was a brilliant guitarist and also blind. there have been some superb blind guitarists with recording careers. I'm thinking of Blues players in particular . Such as Willie McTell and Willie Johnson, and very especially Blind Blake and Reverend Gary Davis. In fact It might be argued that the only two true geniuses of the last 70 years in music were both blind. I am referring of course to Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.

Yes, a power inverter 12v to 240v. They're available and depending on the amperage drawn from the battery would suffice. Can always up the amperage by two 12v bats in parallel as I recall from my physics teacher (keeps the 12v but combines the two amperages)

I've seen Andy and his dog many times over the years in Market Street, Manchester, as I work nearby. He has a great repertoire of Shads tracks, as well as other songs done in Hank's style. He usually plays outside HMV (which is about to move to the Arndale Centre) and I must say his wonderful sounds are a great contrast to the awful racket which usually goes on in HMV!

Andy was in fine form again yesterday in Market Street, Manchester. He gave Mark Knopfler a run for his money (or should I say a walk for his money) on "Walk of Life"!!
