R I P Freddie Briggs

It is with great saddness that I respectfuly inform the membership of this site of the passing away of Freddie Briggs. Freddie passed away on thursday afternoon - the 16th of January 2014 at home. Freddie - as far as I know was a founder member of the Wetherby, North Yorks Shadows Club, who played and sang at a lot of venues in the area both in his own right and supporting many charitable events. Freddie was a lovely, lovely man and will be sadly missed by all who new him.

The details for Freddies funeral are as follows - Church service at St Mary's Church Richmond on Monday 27th January at 13.30pm.
Darlington Crematorium - 14.45pm
Richmond Cricket Club - 15.45pm
For anyone not attending the Cremation in Darlington, the Cricket Club in Richmond will be available after the Church Service for people to meet.
