I went to an afternoon showing of 'Lincoln' last year and the woman next to me (no, not my wife or anyone else of my acquiatance) fell asleep. Now I know it's a very long film but this was after the opening credits! She woke up and saw the last hour or so...
To be honest, I thought American Hustle was somewhat over-rated and the twist was obvious. It's not 'The Sting' by any means, but I did think it was saved by some superb performances from the stars. You might enjoy 'Inside Llewyn Davis' more, David.
However - to get back to the topic - I still think Stream od stars is a nice
[i]hommage[/i] to (or pastiche of) the Shadows style. If I could write 'background music' that's 'unremarkable' like that, I'd be quite happy...
