Just heard on the radio that sir Cliff and Tom jones are guesting on morrissey's usa tour.

One of these days someone will explain to me what on earth anyone sees in the music of Morrissey or the Smiths. I've tried really hard, but it BORES me senseless. Perhaps having support acts who do songs with tunes you can actually remember will make a difference. Then again, probably not.

I feel the same way about Cliff Richard.

It seems like this billing has been put together to ensure that fans of neither artist will want to attend.

I can't stand Morrissey. Miserable, whining, W@%£&*. I hope Cliff takes to the stage and blows him away. Why not invite the Shads too?

Follow that, Morrissey!!!! :D


P.S. If I lived in NY I'd definitely go. Leave after Cliff though!!!!

What I see in the music of the Smiths is that Johnny Marr is an excellent guitar player and songwriter. He happens to have a great love of guitars and cites Hank as one of his influences.
