Brian in Rhythm...???

A recent email from Leo's Den said that Brian was featured in the March issue of Rhythm. I HAD flicked through this magazine (mostly looking at the pictures!) before I read this message, but hadn't noticed any sign of Mr Bennett. I have also checked the April issue, with, not surprisingly, no luck.

So, does anyone have any more info? WAS he in the last issue somewhere?

Which was? He seemed enthusiastic enough at the Albert Lee concert. I can see the Shads doing some Albert Hall gigs still. They've had the final tour but that wouldn't be a tour. I can't help thinking that they'd fancy doing some shows at some point or a festival.

As far as I can remember, the Shadows said they would not tour again, but didn't rule out some occasional event. It was great to see Bruce playing after having some fingers problems.

I MIGHT try a couple of music shops to see if they have a copy. My guess is that as they would only stock a very small line of mags, then they might keep older ones until they sold. It's not that they would take up much space. There are a couple of good shops nearby, so I will pop in next time I am passing and see. Fingers crossed...

I can't see them performing again live, they're all getting on in years and Brian has been ill recently. Cliff still looks in great shape though.
