The 2i's - A Celebration

Postby playitcoolmusic » 22 Mar 2014, 17:12

Hi all...just bringing to your attention my new Facebook Group 'Rockin' At The 2i's'. Hope you find the content interesting which will be updated most days. Still in it's infancy and much of it you will have seen some maybe not. Please spread the word by liking/sharing/commenting on anything of interest and please contribute by making contact and send memories, photos etc which I can add. Let's keep the 2i's place in music history alive.

Thanks and regards

Neil

I would have loved to have been about in the days of The 2i's. Pat went there and could not believe how small it was. Such a shame it was demolished and turned into a wine bar. I have been to the wine bar but it is not the same. The closest I got was at Bruce Welch's house as he has on the wall of his cloakroom a piece of plaster from the 2i's when it was being pulled down. I will check out and like the FB page.

This will be a great way to get all the known photos of the 2i's in one place. I've joined...

It says 'The Cavern where it all began in 1964' ?
The cavern was definately before 1964!
