Hi Didier, hope youre keeping well, I think Bruce could make a serious good album, maybe some collaborations and/or songs that he likes. It might even bring some of the Hank fans out of the timewarp ?

Hi. I would like to reply to your question but would like to begin by saying...if I am stating the obvious (something you already knew), please excuse me. That is truly not my intention.

Bruce recorded one 45rpm, with the A-side being "Please Mr. Please" and the B-side being "Song of Yesterday." I cannot speak to whether the single was ever released. I bought a copy of it from eBay or somewhere, and it's stamped "Demo Copy, Not For Resale." I have framed it and it is proudly displayed in my house. As to my buying an item marked "Not For Resale", I deny any such thing.

Cheers,
Donna

Oh, but they would be "covers" wouldn't they, and that would never do, would it?!

Donna, EMI released Bruce's recording of it in 1974 but it did no good.
Olivia Newton-John released a successful recording (No 3) of it in 1975. Stayed in charts for 12 weeks.
Cheers

Talented, for sure.
I've always thought that Cliff can thank his resurgence in the 70's to Bruce's studio production values.
