I think so too. However, a lot of the older albums by various famous bands have been re-released on vinyl, but then first digitally remastered. That's not the real thing. The whole process from master tape to vinyl should be analogue.

I recently replaced a 25 year old Sony turntable with a new one costing about £100 from Richer Sounds.
Certainly makes an original 61 Shadows LP sound good in mono, but then again vinyl was of a much better pressed
quality back then and with careful cleaning its lasted for 50 odd years.
Some 1970s vinyl was total crap quality with constant pops and clicks on faulty batches that went to shops- I know
as I had to pack and return stock as a Trainee Monkey (sorry Manager)
Will data still be intact on CDS in 50 years of use probably not, for us to worry about!!!

Go back to listening to your old cassettes these days, they sound terrible. Difficult to imagine now that they were what we listened to in the 80s. I only went over to them at the time because a lot of vinyl records were faulty as if they cut down on quality and wanted to phase them out and I was tired of taking them back to the record shop to be replaced but then again a lot of tapes used to be faulty as well and the shop's usual excuse was, 'It must be your player'.
