Is he going/playing? Doesn't say so anywhere that I've seen so far.

Of course I've heard of Alan Jones, and seen him work too- superb Bassist -, but I had no idea that he is your Partner, not that its relevant to the subject matter.

CELEBRATION OF THE SHADOWS: LAKESIDE Sat 13 Sept

Postby Iain Purdon » 04 May 2014, 21:02

I think a little confusion has arisen here!

The Lakeside website shows the event on Sat 13 Sept as a Celebration of the Shadows
http://www.lakesidesurrey.co.uk/shows.php

There is another website which was active in the days of Bruce's Shadowmania event. It's primarily historical now but it is still accessible and on its home page it also shows a poster for the Celebration of the Shadows on Sat 13 Sept and mentions a pre-event on the Friday.
http://shadowmania.co.uk/index.htm

It is not Shadowmania. However, as indicated in Post #5 earlier in this thread, Alan Jones and Licorice Locking will both be there. Doubtless further publicity will follow as soon as details can be confirmed.

If there are other websites around saying other things, I don't know about them but the above are the facts as best I know them.

Hope this helps clarify things! :)
