I can only agree Dave.

Although in my case it was years of picking up right handed guitars and having a strum.
Due, almost entirely to the fact that there were very, very few left handed guitars.

I can still do "Dance On" on a right handed guitar.........sometimes.

At a Hankies night Danny Martin played my R/H CRS59 upside down left handed and didn't miss one note in Apache or Wonderful Land.
