Tour Dates 1980 - 1990

I saw them at The Circus Tavern, Purfleet in early September 1990 - I think this was a 'warm-up' for their upcoming tour (which turned out to be the last!). The format of the evening was dinner, followed by a short disco & then The Shads came on about 10.30pm.
From memory, I think they were there for two or three nights.

I missed one year in the late 80s due to our move to Yorkshire but saw at least one show at all the rest.

I remember the 'special' anniversary show at Blazers where I came away disappointed that it was just a shorter version of their usual stage show. Nothing new and nothing out of the ordinary, just run of the mill stuff.

Yes, I felt the same, Tony.. Apart from the souvenir menu and the audio message, there wasn't a lot to write home about!

I Wasn't invited to the aftershow party, either.

We 13.04.1986 Helsinki – Finland (House Of Culture)

1986 is obviously a typo. Anyway, this concert never happened. It was advertised but cancelled as the tickets didn't sell very well. The concert on 12 April 1983 took place as advertised, though. Needless to say that I was there, of course!
