What really struck me was how relaxed and happy Hank looked, in comparison to the other guests on the show who looked uptight and formal, like they'd come for a job interview. Hank is an absolute professional - Cliff and the Shads come from the old school of total dedication to their audience. Many people have heard the songs and stories many times, but there are just as many out there who haven't heard them.

It's a valid point regarding those who won't be familiar with the story of how the original Strat came into Hank's possession.

Whenever the question is raised with Hank, I often wonder which version he will relate, i.e. the Buddy Holly association (possibly via the sunburst/maple neck on the 'Chirping' Crickets album cover), or that with James Burton, under the assumption that he played a Strat to achieve the sound that Hank was keen to emulate at that time.
