Unreserved apologies Alan....

no offence intended, it's just that I felt your comment was a little harsh... so I dangled a hook and line...
A few years ago, although it looked hopeless, we hoped that one day The Shads would settle their differences and appear together again, even if only for a couple of nights in London... and we landed up with both a UK and European "Final" Tour...
Again, contrary to various personal comments from The Shads as individuals, we hoped that, somehow, we might see them in action again... and a smallish UK tour turned out to be a major international tour... with Cliff.
Had we "lost the plot"? Or did we just have hopes and wishes - however naive?
We now know that when this tour is done, Hank is taking 50th Anniversary number 51 back to Oz... and we also know that number 53, which was destined to be Brian Goode's - but is now Hank's own too - is having the Easymute constant tension modification to the trem so that it meets Hanks performance spec and will remain in the UK for his use when over here.
So is it beyond the realms of possibility that, perhaps when visiting Europe for something gypsy jazz related, Mr M might "pop in" to an event like Shadowmania and play a few numbers?
What encourages me to dream? Just simply that previously, in interviews, our heroes have given us a number of firm "no"s which have eventually been overturned by events. And - have you noticed? - now they tend to say "Well it's unlikely... but never say never..."
