Last Concert for the Fans?

. . . and let's not forget that only last year, Hank, Bruce, Brian, Jet, and Licorice all played together on stage in the finale of the Marty Wilde concert DVD...

I'd say that hoping for a full Shadows lineup, including Jet and Lic, at Shadowmania, is being quite realistic!

Though it would be wonderful to see an 'exclusive' performance for the real fans at, say, The Lakeside, I firmly believe there are several very valid reasons why it will never happen.......they come in VERY large amounts and I think I know the identity of someone who would want a significant portion of those reasons. Nice to dream, but I don't think so!

HOWEVER! please put me down for four tickets.............

I know for a fact that Bruce Welch has NOT ruled out a Shadowmania next year (2010)...............We must remember Bruce like's to keep busy and still loves playing, I think he is a long way off from giving it all up................Just you wait and see !!.........

Oh, and I nearly forgot, I would pay Â£150 for a ticket to see them all at Frimley Green....

If anything was done, and it goes without saying that all on here would love it and no doubt pay handsomely (some to charity maybe?), it would be nice if some kind of advance filtering could be done to allow the members of this site and the similar Cliff site to get early tickets thus assuring the right folks are there - and thereby getting the kind of special audience last seen at Hammersmith in 2004 (!?)

Genesis did this on their final tour and if properly done it seems a perfect way to finish.

(Personally, I wouldn't want Cliff on the bill... he gets in the way of seeing The Shads...)

I agree David, trying to get a ticket would be murder with the Cliff fans buying!

Now if he dropped in unannounced for a couple of numbers!

Yep. If I was one of the Shadows and read this thread, my reaction would be that the fans are being greedy now and really pushing their luck. ALL the concerts have been for the fans.
