Thanks everyone for your good wishes. Thanks to an incredibly low action on my Gretsch 6120 and Burns Marvin, i will be able to play most of the gig. It has amazed me how the set up of these guitars have made a difference to my ease of playing as I struggled with my new Martin OM28 that I bought last week. The action on that is good but it came fitted with 12/52 strings and with my illness the fingers are struggling to press down. However, with 10/46 fitted to the Gretsch & Burns, by comparison it's like there are no strings on there and it's so easy to play. I didn't realise it, but a millimetre in the action can feel like an inch when you're down on finger strength. Now looking forward to it immensly. :)
