RIP Eric - he's a bit of a legend in these parts especially with the youngsters of the 70s who roadied for him doing PA with top flight bands of the time (Kool and he Gang was one I know of) and with the youngsters of the 60s music scene. He supplied guitars and equipment to many. I had the privilege of playing on the same stage as him a couple of years ago and his pedal steel playing was superb.
My son took an Encore P bass copy with a dodgy jack socket in to him a few years back - when he got it back it not only worked correctly but appeared to have souped up output - dunno what he'd done to it but it was great!! If you went in his shop and asked for leads he would make them up for you there and then if he didn't have what you want - my current bass rig speakon leads are from this origin and remind me of that when I use them, along with a very early Ashdown set up I bought from him.
A true character from the 60s era and will be missed by many.
